It’s great to get away with family and friends, but a special holiday or romantic short break is a welcome time away from daily routine. Our Superior Garden rooms are a perfect luxury, complete with your own terrace and piece of tropical garden.
Your day starts with a hearty buffet breakfast complete with the usual favourites like bacon and eggs, as well as healthy options such as porridge and fruit.
After breakfast, take a stroll by the sea or wander along the Bulwarks into one of the many shops and galleries. Or take a short trip into St Helier for some shopping. You’ll find departments stores, and small boutique shops to browse, including some excellent jewellery shops … just in case you want to pop the question!
In the afternoon, you can reflect on your day back at the hotel over afternoon tea and maybe a cheeky glass of chilled champagne. Freshly made scones and decadent cakes are always a good way to make you feel like you are on holiday.
Finish your day at Tides Restaurant – it’s the perfect romantic setting with splendid views, discreet service and gourmet food. When in season the restaurant will serve fresh local seafood, including oysters and lobster as well as local produce.
After dinner take a romantic stroll through the cobbled street down to St Aubin’s village. It’s a perfect place to visit all year round, no matter the season.
In the winter months you’ll find cosy pubs with roaring fires and in the summer months, there are some quaint restaurants on the harbourside to dine al fresco. There’s no better place than to sit along the Bulwarks and eat alfresco with the harbour lit up and the sounds of yacht masts tinkering. Or just go to the pub – St Aubin’s is a great place to mingle with locals at one of the many watering holes within the village.
